Re: spoucal support

Very, very good. In WA, the test is "need v. ability to pay" and lifestyle gets taken into account.

You can be awarded somewhere between 50-60% of the property assets of the marital community, in addition to maintenance.

The Court will want to know about your future plans for working, and whether you will need rehabilitative maintenance as well.

In a court in Pierce or King County, you'd be looking at an award (this is off the top of my head, mind you) of $2K per month and attorney fees if he wanted to argue about it.

BE SURE to get a family law attorney to help you.

Hope this helps - Powell
