Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
out of state visitation
my ex has custody of our 15 yr old son. When the child was 11 he wanted to live with his dad fulltime, we were getting along great so I agreed, he started pressing me for paperwork stating that he had full custody, I finally gave in and signed the paperwork saying he had full custody, after he remarried and things started to change.I am also remarried and my husband took a new job in Nevada, we moved about a month ago and since then I've had no contact with my son, his dad won't let him come to Nevada to see me, and for the last couple weeks I haven't even been able to talk to him on the phone, my calls aren't returned, and no one answers the phone when I call. Summers are suppose to be my time, can his dad not let him come to Nevada for my visitation just because I live in a different state now? If so, do I get any say on where he can go for the summer, my family still lives in Washington close to his dad, could I give my summer visitation to them if he can't come here?

Your situation will be governed by your parenting plan. If you moved after the parenting plan was completed and approved by the court, then you will have to go in for a change (modification) to your parenting plan. I could help you with that as it is a complicated legal situation. Please call me if you woul dlike my help.
