What is the statute of limitation re back child support in Washington state?

Depends on whether the child is under age 18 or not.

I'd need to know more to answer this properly, but in a nutshell:

If a man learns that he is a father, and the mother asks the state to get back unpaid support, the state can (and will) go back up to five years and calculate forward from there.

If the child has turned 18, the state could still go back five years and ask for that back support for the mother.

Past due child support belongs to the parent who provided support with no assistance from the other parent, less what the state provided, if any.

Child support judgments remain enforceable for ten years after the child turns 18.

And any judgment can be renewed if done so within the 10 year period.
