Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Taking back guardianship of children after signing Guardianship of children to g

In January of 2000, I signed 'Guardianship' of my 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter to my husband's parents. The children have lived with their grandparents sinced then. I want to get 'Guardianship' back of my children, but i don't know what I need to do. From my understanding, I signed over 'Guardianship' until December 2000, at that time I will have to sign papers again. What do I need to do to get things started and should I start before the 'Guardianship' expires?

You haven't provided enough information. What do you mean by 'guardianship'. Was there an Order entered by the court? Did a judge or court commissioner sign the order? Was it a temporary order or a permanent order? Was there a dependency hearing? What was the reason for signing over your children?
