Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
If an underage girl has a baby with an 18 year old boy and the two never get married, but live together as a family, who has legal custody of the baby?

Washington does not use the concept of custody. Both parents presumptively have an undivided responsibility for the parenting and support of children.
