Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Verberal Agreements

I am wanting to know if a verbal agreement is a legal and binding contract in the state of Washington? Such as the aggreement made between a couple that is divorcing, one states that they will accept a parenting plan, limit certain parties to visitation due to previous history of not being able to trust them with the children. They will sign papers with these terms if they are written as stated and this is agreed upon by both parties.

Re: Verberal Agreements

No. The court will always demand to have the last say. The verbal agreement and the actions done in accordance with it may affect how the court views the situation, however.

And, do I know you, Janna?
