Visitation rights
My children are 13 and 14 years old. What is the age that they can decide whether or not to continue contact with their father?

Re: Visitation rights
The general rule is that children can decide where they want to live, i.e., with which parent, as of th eage of consent, which in Washington is 16. Contact is another matter as a parent has the right to have contact with his or her children in the absence of some compelling reason not to have such contact, e.g., sexual or physical abuse, etc.
