Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

my ex wife decided last week we do not need a parenting plan anymore. she told me my two boys(12 and 14) were old enough to decide were they should be.i picked them up on friday like ive been doing for around seven years. she followed me 25 miles to my home and demanded my oldest boy go with her. she told me their was nothing i could do about it. after calling the sherrifs dept. i reallized she may be right. i am supposed to pick them up today and heard they are planning on going to the fair tonight. what should i do?

Sheriff might be an idiot. Parenting plans are in place and ordered by courts generally until the child reaches the age of majority (18) unless the plan says otherwise. If she wants to change it she needs a petition to modify parenting plan. You could, I suppose, make an action for contempt, but what's the point?
