Can my wife move out of state with my son without permission?

The answer to your question is easy: yes---and so could you.

However, an attorney would need to know the circumstances and details of your case in order to advise you of your remedies.

One important thing to remember: the UCCJEA states that for the first 6 months any custody case must be filed in WA so long as you still live here. After 6 months, she can file a court case in her state. So . . . if you think you will need to go to court do it sooner than later.
