Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Wishing to file divorce in state of WA...spouse resides out of state and has refused to return signed forms for joinder...so need to consider summons and filing petition anyway. Is the summons filed at the same time as the petition for dissoulotion of marriage?

In most counties and if filing in paper, yes. If filing electronically in King County you can file summons later.
