Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington

Car accident

I LIVE IN SEATTLE. i GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT. IT WASN'T MY FAULT AND I HAVE WITNESSES. I WANT TO TAKE HIM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT BUT HE WONT GIVE ME HIS CORRECT ADDRESS. I NEED TO HAVE AN ADDRESS SO THE SUMMONS COULD BE DELIVERED. WE BOTH DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE. HE GAVE ME A FALSE INSURANCE NUMBER AND AN INCORRECT ADDRESS. I DO HAVE HIS CORRECT LICENSE PLATE #, HIS CORRECT NAME AND PHONE NUMBER. HE IS NOT LISTED AND I WENT CRAZY ON THE WEB TRYING TO FIND HIS CORRECT ADDRESS. HE WAS WORKING WITH ME AND HE EVEN SAID TO FAX HIM A QUOTE. AFTER THAT HE HASN'T ANSWERED HIS CALLS OR CALLED BACK. HOW CAN I GET HIM INTO SMALL CLAIMS COURT IF I DON'T HAVE HIS CORRECT ADDRESS?

Get a private investigator to find him for you. They are amazing. The access that they have to databases and information is quite likely to get you good service.

You do realize in small claims the most you can ask for is $4,000 and the judge could find you contributed to the problem by not having insurance?

If you were insured your insurance company would handle this.
