Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington
Duty of Care question
Our company contracted a commerical warehouse for consumer electronics products receipt and storage. Upon conclusion of a physical inventory it was determined that some goods could not be accounted. The warehouse in question has refused to pay for the missing items and sites that liability for missing goods was not stated in our contract. I believe that I have a case based on the state of Washington's RCW 62A.7-204. I am looking for other writ/cases that support a case for compensation due to loss of goods.

Re: Duty of Care question
No, it's a bailment question. The statute is the law, but judges care what other judges think, so they rely on precedent. Precedent is published case law.
Writs are documents where courts tell clerks or other courts to do something.
You may well have a case. Now, you need a lawyer. You can search for other cases at the law library or with a subscription to West or Lexus.
