property resident manager no pay if I resign can i be thrown out of my apt

I have been working as a resident property manager for 7 months with no pay the verbal agreement was 10.00 hr. I have never seen a pay check however i have'nt paid rent either if I resign can the owner just throw me out.

Yes. The owner/your boss can terminate your tenancy, as a tenancy arising out of employment is not covered by the Residential Landlord Tenant Act. However if your landlord/tenant does that, how are they going to justify not paying you?

Terminating a tenancy under these circumstances is tricky. Your landlord/boss can face some problems. Remember you can always call the police if someone is too aggressive with you.

As for your agreement to be paid $10.00 per hour: You need to contact the state. They can be reached on line. You want to communicate with Labor and Industries, or possibly Employment. You need to tell them - in writing - what you have said here.
