Remove name from vehicle title

I need to have my ex-girlfreind's name removed from the title on my p/u truck. The only resion her name was used was to help me secure finacing. It is now payed off and she will not sign the title off. I have made all the payments on the truck. I started at the dmv and they sent me to the court house. The court house sent me to the auditors office. They sent me back to the dmv. Please help this can not be an uncommon problem?

Did you ask your girlfriend if she would sign off on the title?

Let's say she won't. Get atty. Serve Summons + complaint for a special master to sign the title over for her. This is a superior court problem, not small claims nor yet district court. Do not try this without counsel. The Court will likely sign over the title to you AND award you fees and costs just because your ex is being a putz.
