Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington
Hi. I'm a 16 year-old, and my parents are in the US under the E2 Visa.
I just read a little bit about it on Wikipedia, and it says the E2 Visa holders are allowed to leave the US but not for over 6 months.
My parents have been telling me that I cannot legally go outside the country, and if I do, I will have to go straight back to Korea from that country I left to. (I'm Korean.)
I'm not sure about the specifics of our situation, but is it true that I cannot leave the country?

If you have a valid E-2 visa, you are allowed to travel outside the U.S. Please check your passport and see what type of visa you have. You may also consult with an immigration attorney.
