You might apply for EAD as long as your husband keeps his L-1 status since your L-2 status depends on his valid L-1 status. You may visit our website at www.medinalawgroup.net. Our telephone number is 714-786-6835 and email is [email protected]. Thank you.

Hi,

Your L2 status depends on your husband maintaining his L1 status. However, your husband is not required to be in the U.S. at the time that you file for EAD extension. Your husband can maintain his L1 status even if he spends much of his time outside the U.S. Incidentally, you sign the EAD application, not your husband.
