Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

expedite or other legal action possible on I-130, I-129F

I am a US citizen who submitted my I-130 for my spouse in Pakistan back in September 2006. When the processing time exceeded I found out there was a processing hold for name check since Jan 2007. There has been no request for information or update since I received the I-797C. I never filed my I-129F. My son has been in a coma the whole wait and it is very hard to leave him to visit my husband due to his medical condition so I haven't seen my husband for the last year when we were married. I can't go on much longer and want to know if I can expedite my I-130 or I should apply with an expedite for my I-129F or if there is any other advice, temporary visa, expedite the name check, etc. I am getting where I can't work and my children and I are getting so stressed and confused. I am not sure the best plan of action right now. Also what can I expect with these actions. Please help. Thanks

I am sorry to hear of your situation. These needless delays are so frustrating. You should contact your senator's office. Your political representative can look into the delay.
