Extending your OPT

I want to extend my OPT due to my recent marrage. My OPT will expire in FEB and I want to continue my work here in the states till my appilcation for my greencard goes through. Is this a possiblty? If so, what forms would I need?

Re: Extending your OPT

If your current OPT has 12-month valid period, then you cannot extend it.

If you married US citizen, then your spouse can petition for your greencard and you can apply for work permit at the same time.
