Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington
I have an F1 Visa and I want to get a K1 or K3
Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I can't understand half of the questions I've read.
I currently have a F1 Visa and I expect to finish my AA degree in March/06. I am living with a US Citizen and plan to marry him ASAP. How can I go about getting the paperwork through fast enough so I don't overstay my visa, and how do I go through the process without having to return to Canada (if possible)? Is there a benefit to the K3 visa in this situation? It seems everyone says the K1 is easier.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you.

You can file the immigration applications once you are married. You don't have to go back to Canada if your adjustment application is pending. With the help of my firm, this process will be much smooth for you.
