Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

i filed an asylum on april 14,immigration guys came looking for me 0n 15th..they didnt find me..i went for my finger prints and am waiting for an interview date..but they had come again and i talked to them on the phone and informed them i had applied for asylum(the guy said ''damn i knew it'')...i had not finished a year when i filed...the guy told me i needed to meet him otherwise he would cancel my asylum..i did not...i was scared and got attorney services to help me prepare for the interview,but its been a month and he hasnt done anything apart from sending a g28 to them...do you think the homeland security guy really cancelled my asylum?what am i waiting for now?

This is a strange situation. Your attorney should be a bit more aggressive on this. He should probably talk to the ICE officer. Usually once you have the asylum filed, you are under protection. I have never heard that they cancel an asylum like this. Do you have some kind of criminal records? I will advise you have a second opinion on your case.
