Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

No I-94

I entered the US from Canada by car so my passport did not get stamped and I did not get an I-94. (although I was interviewed on entry so my entry will be on record at the boarder). My boyfriend of 3 years and I have decided to get married. Do I need to do anything regarding an I-94?

Assuming you are Canadian, the I-94 should not be necessary to file an adjustment of status.

If you are a Canadian citizen, you do not need a visa, thus an I-94 at the border, so during the adjustment of status process (Forms I-130, I-485 etc.), the officer will ask you if you entered the U.S. at a regular port of entry (the border).
