Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

I am a permanent resident and my spouse in a Kenyan citizen. He is currently in Kenya and his visitor visa expires in April. I have applied for his green card, I-130 but it is still in the initial stages.

Our infant daughter and I are traveling to Kenya to visit him in March, but want to come back to the states together as a family.

what steps should we take to renew his visa and can it be done before it expires? Also, what is the procedure when I-130 has been filed?

That would depend on what type of visa your spouse has, when you are returning to the US, and your eligibility to naturalize. You should consult with an immigration attorney to explore your options.
