Do I need to submit in I-864 (AOS) a statement of DSHS supplement as a welfare income?

Hello Bonglay:

If you are the petitioner, you must fill out an Affidavit of Support whether your income meets the minimum requirement or not. If your income does not meet 125% of the poverty guideline, then you will need to find a joint sponsor to fill out the I-864 as well. That joint sponsor must be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident. Please contact me to discuss this matter further.
