Legal Question in Insurance Law in Washington
Auto Accident - He won't give insurance info
A company car hit our parked car. The owner of the company
would not give us his insurance information, but said that he would
pay to have our car fixed. Now we have two estimates for $2500
and $1500. He wants to give us $1000, not $1500. And he refuses
to give us his insurance info. Is he required to give us that
information?

Re: Auto Accident - He won't give insurance info
He is not required to give you his insurance information. However, if you should decide to sue him, he will likely tender defense and indemnity to his insurer, thus informing them of the collision. Please feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss your rights in this matter.
