Car accident and pregnant

I was involved in a car accident back in December, I have not settled with the insurance company yet. I then went into pre-term labor in february and was given doctors orders to quit my job and my doctor stated that my accident was a 'possible' cause for this. Can I use this in a claim against the insurance eventhough I had earlier told them I was feeling fine?
