Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Washington

I'm being sued by a film producer for allegedly downloading a movie from a torrent site. I am extremely low income. I cannot afford a lawyer. The attorneys for the plaintiff are demanding I pay $2500 to them by 20 April to avoid being named in the lawsuit and being taken to court. I can't raise that amount of money (which represents four months of my income) and if the court finds for the plaintiff, I could lose everything. I'm suicidal here. I have done nothing wrong. Can someone please help by suggesting someone I can ask to defend me in court? I cannot defend myself because this has already caused significant damage to my mental and physical health.
