Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington

Were my employee rights violated when I was fired?

I was terminated from my job 8 days ago. I had no previous write ups in my file, but I had gotten a verbal warning prior to this day. Then when I was terminated my boss suddenly produced a written warning as her reasoning for terminating me. I asked for a cobra packet to continue my insurance and have not received anything. I have not received my pay for 4 days of work. I have received calls from co-workers that are telling me that the managers still there are telling them all that I was fired. On top of all this I have tried getting a hold of my District manager to relay these concerns to her and she will not return my messages via phone, mail, or email. What do I do now? Do I have any kind of case here?

Re: Were my employee rights violated?

1. File for unemployment.

2. Make any request (like COBRA) in writing. Walk in the request and have them stamp a copy "Received" with the date.

3. Get statements from friendly colleagues that support your position.

4. Get a lawyer.
