Employer Hiring Legalities
Am I legally bound to fill a position I advertise for?
I run job postings for different positions and constantly collect resumes. I am not ''actively'' hiring for any position, however if a stellar candidate came along, of course I would hire them.

No. Think of the job ad as a request to folks to submit applications -- a request to them to make offers to work for you. There are some legal hiring points you should know about though. E-me and I will send a publication to you that is part of a course I teach at Clark College.
