Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington

Employer not paying me

what do I do. I have not gotten a pay check for March 1 and its already time for another one on March 15th?

I've asked what's up and I keep getting the run around.

I think they are not paying me in hopes that I will leave and quit. That way they can't pay severence for lay off or unemployment.

Please help

Re: Employer not paying me

If you leave your job because your employer has stopped paying you, you still will qualify for unemployment.

Further, if the employer is intentionally withholding your pay, you may be entitled to damages over and above your withheld pay. Check with an attorney about the facts of your particular case.
