Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington
Employer Payments
Situation:
Employee leaves large company, employee had direct deposit. The company keeps on depositing the employees check into his/her account. Does the employer have the legal right to take it back. On each check stub, it says in captial letters, ''Non Negoiatable''.

Re: Employer Payments
If I understand your question, the employee kept receiving payments from the company although he or she was no longer working there.
Of course the employer is entitled to the money back.
And "non negotiable" on the stubs just mean the stubs aren't in themselves checks.
