Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington
my ex employer had me work off the clock because "payroll was to tight" he did this to me over the course of a year and a half and refused to pay me for that time. i took the issue to my district manager and he told me it was my fault i wasnt getting paid for that time. how do i get the money they owe me?

How in the world does your district manager believe it is your fault?
Talk to an employment law attorney. If you can prove that your employer intentionally made you work without pay, you will be entitled to double damages (twice the amount they owe you) plus attorney's fees.
