i was given in writing upon starting a new job that relocation was covered(in detail) 6 weeks later, no attempt to relocate me had happened, and i was dismissed to be left homeless 3500 miles away from where i lived. is the employer responsible to get me home? also in writing i was to recieve 1500.00 a month living expenses(in detail), but never recieved a penny all the while incurring such costs at my residemce 3500 miles away. the 6 weeks i was there was split between me paying for hotels and then getting re-imbursed, but not 1500 worth becuase of the financial strain to pay 2 sets of expenses. do they owe me the 1500 a month?

It's impossible to give you a definitive answer without reading the contract, but it sounds to me as though the employer is in the wrong and owes you money.

Unfortunately, you may be hard-pressed to find an attorney to help you unless you can pay a retainer and hourly fee.

However, if this company has done this to other people, an attorney may be willing to take this on as a class-action case.

If the employer is located in WA State, start by contacting the Labor and Industries' wage and hour division.
