labor laws

does my employer have to pay me when she calls on meetings? she says that she can pull one a month and we don't get paid for it.

Assuming attendance at the meeting is part of your job (and not an optional activity), your employer must pay you for time spent attending.

There are exceptions which probably don't apply here (for example, if you are an exempt employee), but to my knowledge, there is no "one-a-month" exception.
