You need to complete a Master Business License with the State of WA and you need to post a bond with Labor & Industries.

Workers Comp is also required if you have any employees. It's optional for yourself if you want to insure yourself.

You should also find out whether the City or County of Spokane requires an additional license. Ditto paying into unemployment.
