Re: unpaid wages

Are you an independent contractor yourself, or are you an employee, working for an independent contractor?

If you are an employee, working for a contractor, you should be able to get help in collecting through the Department of Labor & Industries. If you are an independent contractor, or if the Dept of L & I is ineffective, you may want to try working with an attorney that does collections. If the amount owed you is less than $10,000, you may also be able to collect your legal costs.
