Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington
me and a co worker were terminated when we asked for the last years w2 and hours and wages, taxes. we have been going through a company that has been taking taxes out and providing stubs. before that there is about 7 months of straight pay for overtime and no breaks during the day because we were always on the move. I do not know what to do about obtaining tax info my employer will not answer to me or my co worker. I am not sure what steps to take or what I need to do.

You may have a wage claim and under certain circumstances, you may be entitled to the court ordering your former employer to pay a penalty of 100 % (of the unpaid wages) plus the unpaid wages and your attorney fees, if a lawsuit is required to collect. You may also have a wrongful discharge claim against your former employer for the wages you have lost by being fired.
