Avoiding a 3 day eviction

My propery was forclosed opon. I was served a 3 day eviction notice by the lienholder who was granted back the property in a court hesring. On what grounds can I styy ooff the eviction long enough to try and get my property back?. I meet with judge today at 9:00a.m.

There is no such thing as a three day eviction. The three day notice is the predicate to an eviction action. Once you have been served with that and three days have passed, then the new owner can have you served with a summons and complaint for unlawful detainer; you get six full court days (not counting the date of service) to answer.

But unfortunately, 20 days after you received the Notice of Trustee's Sale is the last point where you could redeem your property.

If you have all ready been served with the summons and complaint, and there has all ready been a show cause hearing and the lien holder has all ready been awarded the property back, then there isn't anything you can do at this point to avoid the foreclosure.

I'm so sorry to have to tell you this right before the holidays; you might want to check with the Tenants Union for information about how to not have this ever happen again.
