Age discrimination could certainly be based on extreme youth.

The legal term for people under the age of eighteen is "Infants". In Washington, the age of majority is 18 for nearly everything, with the notable exception of the drinking age.

You can enter into a contract at age 18. You can get married. You can get a tattoo.

The issue with proving discrimination is that you have to be able to prove that the ONLY reason you were discriminated against was your age.

There are permissible reasons to discriminate - for example, people discriminate on the basis of credit or criminal history all the time. That's permissible.

There are impermissible reasons, such as race or family status. Those are impermissible reasons to discriminate.
