who can my landlord talk to about an eviction notice

is it legal for my landlord to discuss with my boyfriend her reasons behind serving me with an eviction notice if he is not on the lease and not living at the residence?

It may not actuall break a specific law, but it's not smart to discuss credit/criminal/housing problems with a person who is not a party.

Eviction notices should speak for themselves.

But - have you been damaged? Probably not. Embarassed? probably. But actual harm? Not really.
