Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Washington

i rent an apartment, when i submitted my lease renewal form i added notations to it. the property manager first told me it was unacceptable, irequested a new form to resubmit.the manager then later whited out the notations and is considering it a valid document, which i have not seen since i delivered it in any form. is this legal? what are my options at this point?

Legal? Sure it is. Is it a legally binding document? Absolutely not absent unusual circumstances. Options? Well you're operating without a lease and therefore its assumed a month to month lease usually.
