Want to find out how to get info on the local laws regarding event organizing, p
My associates and I are attempting to organize a series of events featuring musicians, concessions, and often large crowds. We have adequate business skills but lack an understanding of the precise nature of the laws surrounding the limitations and guidelines for such events. More than anything else we need to be able to plan around these rules, but legal advice is not in the budget right now. How can we get comprehensible access to the letter of the law here? Every successful venture has 2 elements present: strong tax/accounting and strong legal advice. Those without will likely not survive.
Entering a high-risk business such as you describe without competent legal advice each step of the way is unwise. Your entire enterprise is in jeopardy when you don't understand the legal risks and liabilities you assume under the circumstances you describe.
