Information Regarding My Case

My attorney will let me see information. My attorney will not give me any copies regarding my case. What should I do to obtain this information.

As a general rule you are entitled to copies of all documents in your file which you have paid for. If there is attorney work-product and you owe for it, you may not obtain it without paying. Also, your attorney may exert an attorney's charging lien on the documents in your file if you owe him money.

You may always complain to the bar association if you feel you have been treated wrongfully by a lawyer.
