Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Washington
vesicouterine fistula
I was diagnosed with a vesicouterine fistula after a C-section. I was told by a urologist that the ob/gyn sutured my bladder to my uterus. After wearing a catheter for 2 months, the fistula did not heal and I had to have repair surgery. During the surgery the doctors discovered that the urine had destroyed my uterus and I had to have a hysterectomy. Do I have a case?

Re: vesicouterine fistula
Hi
Yes you may. Typically what we do is to have an OB-GYN review your medical records but the suture of you bladder to the uterus I think is below thte std. of care. However, we need to have a specialist's opinion on it.
If you have a case, the question is what are your damages caused by the negligence?
I need more information to determine if your damages are large enough to support a risky and costly medical negligence case.
I suspect that you do but again, we need to have a doctor review your case and I need to speak to you about what your damages are which were caused from this unfortunate event.
If you want information, please email or call me.
