Legal Question in Military Law in Washington
Entry Level Discharge
My son's dream for the last 2 years was to be in the Navy. My son had been in a pshic. unit when he was in the 7th, because of being picked on my kids, he made up a lie that he was hearing voices, in reality he was not hearing voices. My son went on thru school, graduating from high school with honors in track and weigh lifting. My son is a fine young man, he turned 19 in July, 07. He wanted to be in the Navy very much, it was his dream. The Navy recrituer knew well that my son had been in the hospital when he was in 7th grade, the recruiter and the other recruiters told him not to write it down, and the Navy would never know. My son took their advice. During the 2nd week of boot camp, my son became extremely ill, throwing up blood while doing an intensive training, he continues with the push up, blood soon was pouring from his mouth, nose and ears, the DI made my son continue, My son requested medical and was denied. The DI looked away, only to look back and see my son completely collapsed, with blood now pouring from his eyes.My son was terrified if he did not come clean about hosp. when he was 12 he would go to prison. Now is being sent home on level entry. Is there anything I can do to help my son?

Re: Entry Level Discharge
It sounds like he is receiving an Entry Level Separation. It seems they have not taken any action on the recruiter malpractice or the possibility of a fraudulent enlistment.
Get his medical records. You may need them at some later point.
