First, I have been practicing military law for 30+ years to include two tours as an AF ADC, and do not know of any civilian attorneys in the McChord area that specialize in military justice and courts-martial. The few of us who do this work in the US end up traveling all over for our clients. Indeed, I am presently involved in a GCM for premeditated murder at Ft. Lewis and at the moment am in San Diego.

Second, you still can retain a civilian attorney since your case has not yet been referred nor have you been arraigned. Be advised, there are lawyers who will "underbid" other lawyers, but who have less incentive (other than your money) to work than your CDC. Almost all ADC's are too inexperienced to handle complex, litigated GCM's which is why they have CDC's, but many of them only have one or 2 more years experience than the ADC's.
