Legal Question in Military Law in Washington
If I have recived a DD 214
On my sons dd 214 block 18. it states that Contiunuous Honorable active service is that a honorble discharge.
in addition what does released from active duty mean. My son is still be held at FT Leavenworth were he was discharged on the frist of december. Can they still hold him there?

If he was discharged from the military but is still serving a sentence in military confinement, he can certainly be held beyond his discharge date. If you have questions, you should probably direct them to the command at Ft. Leavenworth where your son is held.
