Legal Question in Military Law in Washington
Soldier looking for answers
I am in the army and am looking to get out. I have spoke to my sergant and discussed this with him. He agrees that I was coerced to join immediately. Basically, I dont know where to go from here, what my rights are, and how to get discharged appropriately. I want to do this the right way the legal way instead of taking matters into my own hands, although, Im not sure how much more of this I can endure. I dont believe in what I am doing I do not think that I am a good fit with the army and what it stands and fights for.

Depending on your situation, your future attorney could submit a discharge request to your command.
