Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

How to determine pain & suffering for scarring

Driver of armored truck is at fault. Adjuster for his insurance company is in process of looking at my car. I have a ''friction burn'' on my hand about 2'' x 3'' that will leave scarring. First aid was administered at the scene by a paramedic. No further medical treatment other than self-care. Am I entitled to ''pain and suffering'' damages? How much is reasonable? What should I document (took photo of hand)?

Re: How to determine pain & suffering for scarring

Yes you are entitled to it and because you have a scar or burn, subjectively the value hinges on the permanency of the outcome.

I suggest you call for a free consultation if you wish.
