Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

diability compensation

I need back surgery and I will be out of work for 6-8 weeks, if all goes well. Is there some compensation or state disability in washington? Where do I look? It was not work related.

Unless you or employer have purchased disability insurance you are probably out of luck. You may be able to use up your sick and annual leave.
