legal dollar amounts

asking price on being stuck and w/o choices for one week because i live where there is no public transportation and is apprx 6or so miles from public transpertation and no money for a taxi . what would someones price be to able to get re-inburst ? i need to have an apprx. amount and the ins company is awaiting for my reply as we speak actually..any ideas or is there like 'guide' of some type? thank you

There is no hard and fast rule, but I've seen insurers pay people approximately $20 - $25 a day for loss of vehicle use, if that's what you're talking about.

You don't mention WHY you're stuck, so my answer may be incomplete. $20 - $25 a day is approxmately what insurers pay for a small rental car, so they'll sometimes pay about the same for loss of use of a car.

Did you suffer any other financial loss due to what I presume is your loss of vehicle use? If so, then it might not be enough. Also, be sure you're not settling your entire claim for just this loss of use claim, unless you have no other claims or losses associated with it.
